Count your blessings

I expect most of you know that old chorus, "count your blessings..." Yet really our blessings are uncountable. Just stop a moment and make a list of them; Sight, smell, hearing, a home, the next meal, shoes on our feet are but a few. Ordinary everyday things that we all take for granted, and we may even think we are entitled to them. As the chorus say's "count your blessings" you'll be surprised how many God has bestowed on you!

Give thanks for family and friends, freedom to worship the Lord, Christian friends, the joy of salvation, the wonder of God's creation, His love for us. Give thanks for we who are Christians are children and therefore heirs to the Kingdom, we are overcomers in Christ, we are already blessed with all spiritual blessings in the Heavenlies.

Give thanks to the Lord. All of His mercies and glory and all that He means to us. That He will bless us no matter what we do. As long as we have eternal life in Him.
