Other cities don’t hesitate to incorporate religious images. Las Cruces, New Mexico’s city logo features, not surprisingly, obviously Christian crosses. Salem, Massachusetts recently spent a boatload of bucks retooling its city signage—including police cars and police badges—to include a witch on a broomstick...

If thats true then the ACLU should be informed. Let the ACLU pick on someone else for a change.

I would encourage everyone to alert the ACLU.

You're right To make it a good, Christian image, it should be a burning witch tied to a stake.

That's not a Christian image. The peace loving Christian being tied to the stake is a Christian image. That has happened far more in the past.

The first 400 years, perhaps. The 1600 since aren't much to brag about...

No true Christian would tie another to the stake and burn them. I don't want to judge those who were lead to support such things because they may have acted in ignorance, God alone will judge, they may not have had proper guidance because they didn't have bibles themselves in some circumstances, but those who had the scriptures who lead others to burn witches, God will judge them harshly i think. I wouldn't want to be them.

Those people seem to be like those who demanded Jesus be crucified. Nothing new.
