Hi I am a Christian,
Who has studied both Christianity (obviously) and over many years of exposure to Islam, come to know a fair bit about that religion. Here is the reason I choose Christ over Islam:
Christianity teaches peace, not aggression. Jesus said "Love your enemies do good to them". Islam speaks in many places in the Quran about taking vengeance upon your enemies, i.e. "Slay the pagans where ever you find them".
Islam actually has verses stating men can beat their wives if they are disobedient. Christianity has no such teaching, rather stating "Husbands love your wives and don't be harsh to them".
