I need some help. I am getting tired of the same old Christian rock sound. I have set out to discover some good Christian rock. Here is a list of some that I have recently found and really like. Any suggestions along these lines would be very appreciated.
1) Icon for Hire
2) the Violent Burning
3) House of Hero's
4) Andy Hunter
5) Sleeping at Last
6) Apt. Core
7) Family Force Five

Any band suggestions along these lines would be greatly appreciated.

nop, I don't !
Well, okay! :)

On the other thread I posted, and you said you quite liked, Disciple's Radical, which is excellent lyrics in hard rock.

Probably you like it enough to listen to it a bit, but not enough to go hear such tracks at a rock concert, then!

I myself do appreciate congregational singing.

You might try Disciple; see previous post also.

Hello Kapp,

Maybe youll like it:

Interesting group! They sound a bit like the old rock bands "Kansas" and "Styx." They're definitely in the 'Prog Rock' category. (I'm glad I just happened by to find out about this group!)

Definitely interesting. To me they sound (when not singing) like Yes. Especially in the keyboards and bass.

Yeah, I think I hear a little 'Yes' in there too, among some other more modern sounds as well.
