Chicago Police Apologize for Treatment of Rapper Rhymefest
Chicago police have issued an apology to Che Smith, the rapper better known for his stage name Rhymefest, after he posted video showing police arguing with him when he attempted to file a robbery report. Rhymefest said he had been robbed at gunpoint in his car. When he went to a police station to report the crime, he filmed a tense interaction with officers, who asked him to stop filming and leave the station without filing his report.

"We are disappointed with what we've seen and how Mr. Smith was treated, and the chief of patrol called him personally to apologize on behalf of the department," Chicago police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi told the Chicago Tribune. "And Superintendent Johnson has directed the chief of patrol to ensure this matter is addressed today with the district."

I'm sure it's the rapper's fault. He was probably rude and since he was rude that means he doesn't deserve his Constitutional Rights or any courtesy.

Besides, even though the Federal and Supreme Courts have ruled time and time again that it is legal to record public officials, the police are right to be angry and combative when being recorded. I mean, it's not like there is a constitutional amendment guaranteeing the right to record or your right to free speech. ..

Yeah, you know those rapper's, he probably deserved to be robbed.
