Cesarian Scar itching...4 years later.

My c-section scar hasn't really hurt or given me any problems in a long time, but for the last 3 days it's been itching like crazy! It's not red, swollen or irritated...it's just itching horribly. My child is 4 years old..why now? Anyone else with cesarian scars have itching years later?

My son is three and the only time mine itched is when I got pregnant with my now 1 1/2 year old and more recently when I got pregnant again. No idea how to make it go away.

I'm not pregnant either...this is the only major scar I have so I didn't know if they'd always itch on and off..or if there was a reason. I couldn't really find one aside from pregnancy, and I'm not pregnant. I guess it's just itching to drive me crazy.

I don't have a c-sec scar but I do have another sort of big scar that itches once in a while. It was where I had a mole removed when I was pretty young - like 5 years old. I've been told that there is a benign cyst in there now and that's probably why it itches.

mine still itches occasionally, my DD will be 6 this week so you'd think by now that would be over. Don't know why, don't have any advice but I can empathize.
