Many are now seeing three figures

The number of people living beyond 100 years has reached a record high in England and Wales, according to official figures.

The Office for National Statistics says there are now 9,000 "centenarians" - a 90-fold increase since 1911...

Before y'all make too many plans to reach 100 on this weary & endangered planet, thank God that all the signs the Bible forecast show Jesus is coming soon!

He did promise signs as clear as lightning & as strong as a woman's labour pains - serving only to bring on the Great Delivery of Matt 24:30-42 & 1 Thessalonians 4:13-5:11 etc :p

See www.BibleGateway.org

& tell ya friends to get ready :amen:

What impact will living longer have on our society?

What are the implications of living longer?

The number of people aged 100-years-old in England and Wales has increased at a faster rate than any other age group since the 1950s.

Figures from the Office for National Statistics showed there are now 9,000 centenarians, a 90-fold rise since 1911, when the number was around 100.

The report claims a major factor in the rising number of centenarians is better hygiene, medical treatment, food and housing.

Are you elderly?

Are you keen to make the most of life?

What impact will the growing number of old people have on our society?

As time goes by, our society advances and technology improves. With medical advances, it is expected that people will live longer. People are living longer simply because we have a greater knowledge of how to keep people alive longer. Period.

This has nothing to do with the supposed return of your savior.

Maybe, maybe not. Every generation since the time of Christ has thought they were living in the end times. They've all been wrong.
