Bus Explodes on Dallas Highway; Up to 20 Dead

DALLAS — A bus filled with Hurricane Rita (search) evacuees caught fire early Friday on gridlocked Interstate 45, killing possibly up to 20 people.
KFAA-TV reported that 20 people had been killed and 12 injured, but that could not be confirmed.

20 dead? I heard on the radio this morning 1 was dead, about 12 injured.

Those poor people really deserve a break.

NOW I'm beginning to think that something's up... on some kind of mystical level.

Katrina comes along... destroys New Orleans.

Everyone runs to Texas.

Rita comes along... people, learning a lesson from New Orleans, jump on the highway in an effort to escape.

Bus carrying evacuees explodes killing 20. BLOCKS said highway, causing even more traffic jams than what were already existing.

This is just insane and horrible.

Wasn't Galveston that city/town that got destroyed by a hurricane in the early 1900s?

I heard it was a bus with evacuated elderly people on it. And when the bus caught fire.. some of the oxygen tanks on the bus caused it to explode.
