Wouldn't doubt it.

His appointment needs to be questioned.
His replacement seems like he should have been the first choice.

But there will be plenty of blame to spread around, and plenty of time to
figure it out, with a proper investigation.

Interesting, now how much of step down vs a put down do you think it is? If he was publically fired before an investigation then that truly would have reflected badly on Bush and Chertoff, not that the whole debacle could reflect much worse but....

He did in fact resign, this is true...wow...

Looks like 'ol Brownie did such a good job that he's quitting. Guess he's been the designated fall guy.
