After having a lot of awful things happen in the last few hears, leading to some issues and venting here, I have been inspired by a few users who talked to me through my rants. Even tough we may still not agree on some issues I am reminded of the kindness and understanding of fellow Christians. It is on that not that I want to snap out of this funk. Let's all count our blessings. What are you thankful for? Me first:
My beautiful son who has the heart of an angel
My big family, cousins included
My husband who is family yes but deserves special mention
Being a nurse, a job I love
Wonderful friends
A home
Beating cancer twice
My brother still being here
That I was raised to be good person
That my folks were logical and wise
I suppose I could go on but it is now past my bedtime.

OK WHO'S NEXT TO SHARE BLESSINGS?

Being blessed with all the Heavenly blessings of God in Heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
Plus all those that you have mentioned.

Now give me more of yours.

Of course all of those listed above
For Fathers DAy-- that I have an awesome dad.
That my mother was so incredible, larger than life really.
COFFEE-- yes how could I forget.
That I know Jesus.
That I am usually very positive and up beat, flexible and easy going.
My great job, co-workers and boss.
That I live in a mostly great country.
Great movies and TV shows.
All of the little things.
All of the big things.
The positive words I have received here on CF.
That I can pay my bills.
My health is mostly good.
I live in a beautiful state.. full of the wonder that God created.
My 6 year son is smart, well behaved, generous, thoughtful, and loves singing gospel songs all of the time in his sweet little voice.
My son is also a snuggly, huggy, affectionate and happy little boy.
We are able to send him to a Christian school where he is learning not only academics but a good moral foundation.
Forgiveness and understanding.
Humor.
Enough food and shelter.
Facebook.
Tiramisu, Creme Brule, Napolians, almond croissants, and other scrumptious pastries.
The gym so those pastries don't stick.
That I grew up in a beautiful mountain resort town with a good school.
etc
etc
etc.
all things big and small, we should thank the Lord for all blessings.

Hi Staceylee67,

About every three seconds I take a breath. The oxygen that I take in that keeps my body alive every three seconds is a blessing. God created it that I might have this life. Then he gave up His Son that I might have the next. Two of the greatest blessings that I am thankful for each and every day.

God bless you.
In Christ, Ted

I am thankful for anyone that left us a prayer:

“We have to pray with our eyes on God, not on the difficulties.”
― Oswald Chambers

“Do not pray for an easy life, pray for the strength to endure a difficult one”
― Bruce Lee

“Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love,
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved, as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.”
― Francis of Assisi

A couple months ago my daughter was sick and had a fever. I was alone in the house, had no help. I was frustrated. I prayed about it and 5 minz later she was fine.

Again, just two weeks ago, same situation. Daughter had a fever, no help. Prayed. 5 minz later she was fine.

I have a video business where I do promo videos for independent businesses. When winter comes around, nobody wants to do videos and I was running low on funds. I applied everywhere for a job. I got called but every job that called me required me to work on the Sabbath so I declined. Prayed about it. The next day I get a call from someone for a business I didn't even apply for and the sweetest part is they don't work on the Sabbath either......

Crazy.

Praise God!
