Neither my sponsor or I knew to get a baptismal cross, so I didn't have one. (But I was brought in by Chrismation only, so I guess it didn't come up.) I bought one for myself later.

I think the cross you have chosen is beautiful. There is no right or wrong there. Yes, you should choose one that you can wear at all times. Always wear your cross.

I know this seems maybe silly, but I wasn't sure of the role a Cross would play in the Baptism, or after. Understanding that would make more sense of things. I'm glad it's not something to stress much over.

And I'm glad the one I posted is ok. It's a business, and they make them (it's not really antique like the description says). Sooner or later I want to get one anyway. It's very much my style. If it can come later, that's another good piece of information. That will give me a chance to get a chain as well.
