Not really, but I'm quite irritated with my History Text, as it's talking about the Jesuits smooth talking the Indians, and calling them a nuscance. Which they probably were to the Indians, but still. And it talks about them being effiminant.

I'm not entirely sure that I've ever run across the Society of Jesus being called "effeminent." What history book are you using? That is somewhat bizarre.

Talking about the qualities of some of the Jesuits' masculineness (or lack thereof) is a bit inapropriate in a textbook...why did your prof choose that book again?
