So let's all give up, let hate and violence reign! When Messiah comes back, not until.....no matter how hard we may try.
So if we don't give up, and not giving up is useless because God designed us for violence, then what do we do?No one here said that......It is just that human nature will not change.......
Do it in the name of heaven"Go ahead and hate your neighbor
Go ahead and kill a friend
Do it in the name of Heaven
You can justify it in the end"
The best we can....that is all anyone can ask.....So if we don't give up, and not giving up is useless because God designed us for violence, then what do we do?
If there's no hope for any better outcome, then we're like Sisyphus, condemned by a god to push a rock up a hill for eternity. The best we can....that is all anyone can ask.....
It is a fallen world until Messiah comes back and sets things right.....till then we are just shoveling sand into the sea when it comes to changing human nature for the better. If there's no hope for any better outcome, then we're like Sisyphus, condemned by a god to push a rock up a hill for eternity.
So then again, do we shovel sand or try to change at least our own nature. As the belief goes, Jesus not only sent the Holy Spirit to believers, but also told them to make believers of all. It doesn't sound like it was a hopeless waste of time. The Holy Spirit entering a person should transcend human nature one would think. No wonder people are slipping away from faith if believers teach that nothing can be done regardless. It is a fallen world until Messiah comes back and sets things right.....till then we are just shoveling sand into the sea when it comes to changing human nature for the better.
Not all will be saved......you lead those that can be led to Messiah. "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." Matthew 7:13-14. We know how many will be saved (few) we just don't know who they will be so you keep trying. So then again, do we shovel sand or try to change at least our own nature.
