On first look, I didn't think it was an eight, because I have never encountered it written that way. And I am a native speaker.

But apparently other, older, native speakers disagree.

  The link I gave (the Kalgren one) gives both versions as allowable for the word. However, the etymology is the same, and not to Nick's favor. On the other thread on this topic, I pointed out that Nick's own favorite choice of sites is even harsher on the supposed "create" pictorgraph. They got one of the 4 symbols correct.

The dissection of "create" (zao), and "demon" (muo) are complete crocks of crud. It would be funny, if they weren't completely serious.
