Time and space were created by God for man. God is beyond time and space and not bounded by them. The bible says God is Spirit and omnipresent. There is no such a time nor place where God first "existed". God exists all along. Thus God is past, present and future for mankind.

Likely your friend would not use scripture for a base of reasoning.
"Who created God?" is a good question.
Scientifically speaking - all things must have an origin if they are "matter".
So the original "matter" must have had an origin outside of nature.
Spirit or God is the only scientific answer available.

Denim:>>Time and space were created by God for man.

Dear Denim, Amen. On the 4th Creative Day. Gen. 1:16

Denim:>>God is beyond time and space and not bounded by them. The bible says God is Spirit and omnipresent.

My personal view is that God is the Spirit of Love, composed of The Father, whom NO man has ever seen nor can see, because He's invisible. What does Love look like? I'm not speaking of lustful Love, but of lasting Love, Agape Love.

Love also exists in Jesus for in Him dwelleth ALL of the fulness of the Godhead BODILY, physcially. Jesus is the ONLY God you will ever see. The Holy Spirit is what links us to the Father and the Son, and makes us sons of God.

Since Love is an invisible Spirit, He is everywhere, in some men, and absent from other's. In the end, the wheat will be separated from the chaff, and the chaff will be burned. ll Peter 3:10

Denim:>>There is no such a time nor place where God first "existed". God exists all along. Thus God is past, present and future for mankind.

Amen. Love has always been. Darkness or hate came into the physical world when God created matter apart from Himself. That is WHY we MUST be born again, or born of His Spirit. We must be born Spiritually to inherit Eternal life. Those who do NOT have His Spirit are NONE of His. Romans 8:9

In the End, darkness or death will be the last enemy detroyed.1 Corinthians 15 (Blue Letter Bible: KJV - King James Version)

In Love,
Aman

I think the only logical answer is "God did."

What if God created himself before he created space and time?

When one person or thing is created, there will be a specific time and place where and when it first appears (created). But God is beyond space and time - there is no specific time and place for Him to be created. He is timeless and omnipresent. He exists all along.

What if God created himself before space and time...therefor he has always existed as there was no time yet.

The bible says the is a time for human activities. When something is created, there is a time and place where it first appears or existed.

This still doesn't answer my question, unless your answer is because the bible says so.

Time and space began when He created them. Like I said every creation starts at certain place and time. 0th second marked the time of creation.

He created time and space, yet you say time and space are required for something to be created. If He could create time and space when there was no time or space to create it in, why could He not create himself?
