Matthew 11:28 - 30
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
Yeah... I needed a refreshing from God...
I did the hardest thing of all today... I finally went up to the person I couldn't forgive and finally told them that I forgive them... and I feel so much much better... I can't believe what a load off my shoulders it is and I feel FREE!!!
Praise God! :p |

Amen sister! Whenever you feel it is too difficult to forgive someone just weigh your forgiveness of them against what God forgave us in Christ. It makes our forgiveness pale in comparison!
God Bless

Reps: 174 (power: 0) | | 2 Timothy 2:11 - 13 This is a faithful saying:
For if we died with Him,
We shall also live with Him.
If we endure,
We shall also reign with Him.
If we deny Him,
He also will deny us.
If we are faithless,
He remains faithful;
He cannot deny Himself.

I believe, what we sacrifice here on earth, we will be more blessed in heaven. |

Reps: 174 (power: 0) | | Sometimes I feel as though I'm not getting much out of my life, that I'm not doing enough for God... and at times I feel kind of depressed like I don't know where I'm headed in life (as in the type of job, ministry, etc)... but...
Ephesians 3:14 - 19
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height -- to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
So after reading that... I feel encouraged!! ... it was amazing... cos I just opened my bible and there that verse was... just that second ago this is so cool!!! |

Reps: 10 (power: 0) | | | FFX, I have just had a conversation with a friend of mine over the same concerns you have. David and I are both seminary graduates neither of us are in full time ministry. I shared with Dave that we be obedient to God in the place where he has us right now. Because if we obedient in the place He has us right now, that is what is going to count for eternity. We need to be focused on the BEMA Seat of Christ (Rom.14:10; II Tm.4:1). We need to have life viewed from the Judgment Seat of Christ because when you and I stand before Him there, He is not going to look down on us for not holding the office of a pastor. His concern is going to be how faithful were you, how forgiving were you, and were you "following righteousness, faith, love, peace with them that call upon the Lord out of a pure heart" (II Tm.2:22).
So, FFX lets look at life theologically ~ it makes life down here much more easier to bear. If we look at life from an American success oriented perspective then you are I are considered losers! But if we prepare for life as the Apostle Paul did, with the BEMA Seat of Christ in mind then we will be winners! |

Reps: 10 (power: 0) | | | Isn't it great when God gives us the right scripture at the right time? I think that he does that to show how much he knows about us. He is such a good God. I am glad that you were blessed.
