Sharptee - Yeah!! I agree!! And you know what... just last night I rejoined my church's music ministry team... I had a long long break... but I think it's something that's been on my heart for awhile... so WOO HOO!!!

Here's another scripture that touched my heart as I was doing my quiet time:

John 15:5-7

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot
bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine,
neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
I am the vine, you are the branches. He who
abides in Me, and I in him bears much fruit; for
without Me you can do nothing.
If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as
a branch and is withered; and they gather them
and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you,
you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done
for you.

PRAISE GOD FOR HE IS GOOD, AND HIS MERCY ENDURES FOREVER!!! SO LET'S ABIDE IN JESUS!!!

Have you ever wondered what "abide" means... I just wondered that very moment... I'm checking it now:

The collins concise dictionary says:

abide: 1. to tolerate; put up with. 2. to accept or submit to. 3a. to comply (with): to abide by the decision. b. to remain faithful (to): to abide by your promise.

(that was for anyone else who was interested in that - Sorry... I'm very long winded :p)

Well, I'm not here on a regular basis like some of you. But I try my best... anyway... here's my experience to share:

Lately, while driving on the road I feel like the traffic is getting extremely bad. I find myself always ALWAYS in the slow SLOW lane... I get so frustrated sometimes. But I've recently realised that this must be God's way of building patience (and now I've been humbled).

I've also really found it awesome to be playing praise and worship songs while driving that long journey to work every morning. The long journey doesn't seem so long, and everyone "out there" just seems to be far away. I know it's embarrassing and all... but I sing in the car , I find it has really freed me in so many ways... such as not being fearful of what others may think of me, and it gives me freedom, because I'm embarrassing myself for God...

John 12:23 - 26

But Jesus answered them, saying, "The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified. Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honour."

Just when I was loving my new temp job, I suddenly got humbled (yet again ). Because I was just told that they didn't want me anymore because they were looking for someone more qualified. But they did give me another job opportunity, however, it gets paid much much less . But I realised that I almost got too comfortable and started to depend on God less... OH NO... So, there we go!

Praise God!! I will rely on Him!!!

I'm feeling so sleepy and tired the whole day. I think I've been way too busy since Friday - Sunday non-stop and now I'm paying for it. I'm a little run down... man, I got to learn to relax a little more and not take too much on all at one time!!!

2 Thessalonians 3:13

But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good.

Ok... feeling kinda depressed today... I don't know what it is... is this a girl thing? It kinda makes me feel like not wanting to do my quiet times... but because I still want to do it, I will... keep perservering, 'cos I'm still pretty sure God is listening to me!!!

Luke 18:1 - 8

1 The He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart,
2 saying: "There was a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man.
3 "Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, 'Get justice for me from my adversary.'
4 "And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, 'Though I do not fear God nor regard man,
5 'yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.'"
6 The the Lord said, "Hear what the unjust judge said.
7 "And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them?
8 "I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?"
