They really really don't like the very best proofs of evolution.
Endogenous retroviruses, and their insertion being in complete agreement with morphological family trees of species (thus providing a nice cross check with completely different lines of evidence), are usually the first hammer I like to hit Creationists with. I've never met one who could counter it.
They may be the single best "smoking-gun" proof of evolution there is.
