The strip perpetuated the mistake that evolution = atheism. Since it does not, those of us interested in science get ticked when you are lied to in the name of humor.

Actually - being a follower of the strip - the charecter in the comic talking about evolution is actually an agnostic/pagan persona. Former 'boob vampire' (in a ha ha sense) turned pagan turned evolutionist. I'm sorry you can't take a joke. *shrug*
