Reps: 118 (power: 0) | | The first requirement for YEC is to totally shut down any rational thought about all the falsifications of the global flood myth. We see this over and over. The second requirement is to say "poof" God did it, whenever something is so irrational that even a YEC can't accept it.
I will be away until Sunday night at least. Continue to try to keep anyone from taking any of AllHail's nonsense seriously.
ooh more bashing....
do you realize that there is a worldwide tradition among natives of a global flood? Why would this be so if no such thing ever happened?
and according to current archaeological evidence, civilization appears to have originated in the Ararat/Babylon region which was the same place as the tower of Babel.
and all types of rocks (eg limestone, shale, granite, etc) occur in all geologic 'ages'. This indicates a common formation on a global scale - the same situation that would have been created by the mixing of sediment in a global flood.
so whose shutting down rational thought? certainly not me.

Reps: 118 (power: 0) | | Yes, they could, but the Flood would have washed them off. The algal domes are not strongly attached to the trees.
not necessarily. certain domes could have been easily sheilded from the waters by branches, or parts of the trunk, knots or other things. I have read about ecological zoning which is why I know it is total unadulterated nonsense of the first order to try to use ecological zoning to explain the fossil record.
Ecological zoning works within it's own limitations, but there is also the flood itself that many times trumps this.

because people lived on flood plains where the soil was most fertile for agriculture. They still do - why do you think so many people are being displaced in China because of the Three Gorges dam? and according to current archaeological evidence, civilization appears to have originated in the Ararat/Babylon region which was the same place as the tower of Babel.
so? does this include all the other civilisations, which emerged in places such as the yellow river and so on? and all types of rocks (eg limestone, shale, granite, etc) occur in all geologic 'ages'. This indicates a common formation on a global scale - the same situation that would have been created by the mixing of sediment in a global flood.
water hydrologically sorts things. why isn't everything hydrologically sorted into one heap? so whose shutting down rational thought? certainly not me.
you clearly have.

lol not the theory, the planet...lol because people lived on flood plains where the soil was most fertile for agriculture. They still do - why do you think so many people are being displaced in China because of the Three Gorges dam?
In what way does living on flood plains mean that any civilization will beleive that the whole earth was globally flooded? so? does this include all the other civilisations, which emerged in places such as the yellow river and so on?
of course, you don't think chimps evolved into humans in two seperate places at the same time do you? Even you must admit that humans all came from the same place... Look at the molecular clock if you don't beleive me. water hydrologically sorts things. why isn't everything hydrologically sorted into one heap?
Because there are other things at work besides hydrological sorting.
Not me.

so no-one noticed these massive kilometre wide balls of rock smacking into the earth over and over again? You're right you were exaggurating.
why do you feel the need to twist my words, when you know perfectly well that I was saying the pole who passed these ledgends on, were egaggerating. ???? what does this mean? please explain furthur. one second we are talking about the rise of civilisation, then all of a sudden you arbitrarily leap to the evolution of man (we didn't evolve from chimps, we share a common ancestor with them that wasn't exactly like either). you were talking about the emergence of civilisation in the ararat area (probably around jherico actually, for this is where wheat seems to have evolved) and I was asking if this includes all the other civilisations, such as those that emerged around the yellow river and so on. can you follow a conversation?
