Creation & EvolutionForum for the discussion of this important topic. This forum is open to non-believers. There is a Christians-only forum in the Christians-only section too.
That's not relevant and you're just setting yourself up for failure.
If the only thing that the alleged "Word of God" supports is a global flood, which is exactly what you are implying with your question (whose answer I'm sure you could not care less about), then you bring the credibility of that text into question because we already know that a global flood did not occur, particularly at the time you need it to as per your biblical interpretation.
In short, if the alleged "Word of God" does not allow for a local flood, then your text is wrong, plain and simple.
I also see that you have abandoned any attempt at explaining the evidence against you now that you have admitted that the evidence supports the findings of science because you claim that it was rearranged by demons. There simply is no longer any reason for you to continue any discussion here.
If the Word of God claims the Flood of Noah was "Global" wide, I would probably turn Atheist myself as I myself cannot reconcile that with the "endtimes" spoken of in the Bible.
The Fact is, if the flood was symbolically "local", that would also make the Endtimes in the NT "local", thereby causing an extremely violent "quaking" in the eschatological circles of Christ-ianity and bring us more in line with the Jewish view of Scripture..Interesting.
Isaiah 65:17 " For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind. 18 But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; For behold, I create Jerusalem [as] a rejoicing,
Matthew 5:18 "For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the Law till all is fulfilled.

Ezekiel 37:2 Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, [there were] very many in the open valley; and indeed [they were] very dry. 3 And He said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" So I answered, "O Lord GOD, You know." 4 Again He said to me, "Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! 5 'Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones: "Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.

Not only was this thread a bump of one bumped nearly six months after it had run it's course in 2005, the guy you responded to hasn't posted here in 10 months.

And here's the Atheists Gambit rearing it's head again, ironically being warmly embraced by a literalist.
