you are comparing a single volcano to more meteorite impacts than one can shake a stick at. It is not just the lack of a biblical mention, but the lack of a mention in any of the other cultures that meticulously note down every event they ever see, and the lack of any actual possibility of life surviving that amount of bombardment.

They weren't rocks, they were unreacteed bits of the hydrogen canopy hitting the earth. I mean, if it can stay solid at temperatures of hundreds of degrees and zero pressure, earth atmospheric conditions should be a doddle.
