Reps: 19 (power: 0) | | | I officially give up - I'm a worthless piece of junk that people ignore I've come to the conclusion that I don't matter to anyone, and I wonder if how I feel matters to God. I pray and pray about stuff, and nothing changes. I thought God was supposed to give us our heart's desire? I thought Jesus said to ask anything in His name, and it would be done. I'm not talking about material things. Just simply stuff like getting snow, or helping me to stop being such a bad person. People keep dogging me about stuff, and I have no freedom to make any kind of decisions about my life.
I'm thinking I'm just going to give up.
I can't do anything right, I can't say anything right, I can't think anything right, and nothing I feel or say is important to anyone. I am stupid, I don't know anything about life, I don't know anything about anything at all.
I'm fed up with being confused about God and Christianity and sick of trying to pray only to have nothing good happen in my life. No one in Christianity knows what they are talking about, no one knows how to be loving. |

I don't think I could handle that for another 18 years. Keep up the good work, God will reward you for not giving up in the end. I just hope I can live by those words myself. |

God's treasures are the worlds trash (not to say that its real trash)
None of those things you said about yourself are true. as far as you being stupid or bad or anything. Those are all lies from Satan. You are precious and honored in God's sight and he loves you so much. I realize that it is hard when we don't seem to be getting any break through in our lives and it seems like God isn't answering prayer. I am human and I have experiened these pains myself. The important thing is to seek after God with all your might and ask his power to impart upon you in his holy spirit and seek his face. You are Christ's own, assuming you have asked him into your heart. You also have the power and authority of Christ, just as the apostles had in Acts. You need to exercise that authority over the lies of satan and the desires of the flesh and rebuke anything that is not of GOd. This is not true. You may not be able to do anything right by your own strength but Gods power is made perfect in our weaknesses. He loves to use weak people. What you feel and say is important not only to God but probably to more people than you realize. It is important to me because as a believer in Christ and a fellow human being, I see what you have to say as important and worth saying. God made you the unique individual he did for a purpose. He has plans for you that are Good. He will take care of you. Don't allow Satan to seep lies into your self concionce. You are not stupid. and you are precious individual and God wants to breathe new life into you. Seek his face not his hand and he will breathe on you like never before and make you whole but you must surrender your whims to his power and trust him to take over and fill all those empty voids of your soul.....I will pray for you.....JESUS LOVES YOU SOOOO MUCH. He died for you. Please learn to love yourself and ask the Father what he thinks of you, his precious child, and blessed creation. He will tell you. Anything that is bad or negative about what he thinks of you is NOT OF GOD but of Satan. Rebuke it and stand against that by the power of the blood of Christ.
I gotta go .....(your being prayed for) |

Reps: 38 (power: 0) | | | I agree with Beauty4Ashes. These are satan's lies. He is the deceiver. He is filled with hate, injustice, and false hopes.
Sometimes we need to pray and ask God if there are things that we should change in our lives. Ask Him about our sins. If there is something that is holding back Your walk with Him. Ask Him for clear answers. If there is something that needs to be changed.
Sometimes there are things that have happened in our lives that we need to forgive others, or things that we need to forgive ourselves for.
A time of adversity is like a boot camp; it is rigorous, painful and challenging...
Courage is required not only to face and endure in times of adversity, but also to make the changes in our lives.
Joshua knew about adversity. Forty years of wandering in a wilderness quailified him to understand hardship, trials, and troubles.......physical, relational, spiritual, and no doubt emotional and mental. Joshua also knew that the Lord was with him and his people.
Three times, the Lord spoke to Joshua about courage:
Josh. 1: 6
Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.
Josh 1: 7
Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you.
Josh 1: 9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord Your God is with you wherever you go. |

Reps: 247 (power: 0) | | You are NOT a piece of junk. God don't make junk. He has a purpose in your life and that He will show you in due time...all we have to do...is...have patience. Which I know is hard to do...because I have a hard time with it myself. But hang in there...things will get better and people do not ignore you...we responded to you....because we care.
What Beauty and JesusInMyHeart said...is so true. Read it and let it sink in deep down inside your soul.
Not only do we love you.... GOD LOVES YOU! Don't ever give up.

Wow, I know exactly how you feel, I'm going through the same thing. I will tell you what I do know though....there is much hope in Christ Jesus! Don't give in just yet because it doesn't prove anything to those around us that don't care about us, it only hurts those who do care. |

Reps: 38 (power: 0) | | | We were created to reflect God's greatness. We were created as people with a soul and spirit. Being made in God's likeness means that we possess characteristics that are also found in God. We were created special so that God could reveal to us the wonder of His glory. Understand and cherish the unique privilege and position we have been given. Gaze up at the sky and marvel that you can be known by God in the vastness of such a world. You may not feel significant . . .but you are. The world may not notice you . . . but the Father does.
We were made to uniquely reflect the nature and character of God. How well are you reflecting the Father? The next time you look in a mirror ask yourself that question. Ask, Do others see Jesus in me?
We were created with the awesome privilege of being a steward over God's Created order. Have you taken this world for granted? The next time you see garbage on the sidewalk . . .pick it up. The next time you are tempted to abuse the environment, refrain. Do it, to show your love and faithfulness to our Creator and Lord.
One more thing. This passage tells us that we were made to have fellowship with God. And because of sin we now have a God-sized hole in our being. We are complete only when we are reunited with Him. St. Augustine said, "You made us for yourself, O Lord, and our hearts are restless until they find their rest in you."
Everyone, has an emptiness in their soul that they long to fill. Most try to fill it with things: power, money, stuff, amusements, relationships, experiences. Some look to alcohol, others to drugs, others to criminal thrill seeking. Some end up giving up on life. But they are all looking. They run faster in the hope that they can silence the cry of emptiness. But the only way to fill the emptiness is to rebuild our relationship with God. We need to find, trust, and follow Jesus.
Are you searching for something today? Do you have a sense that something is missing in your life? Let's do a little personal inventory.
Have you trusted His provision for your sin? Have you believed in and trusted Jesus? Are you willing to place your confidence in what He did on the cross for you? Are you willing to stop trying to rationalize your sin and turn to Christ for forgiveness? If you are, why don't you do just that right now? Are you spending time with God or does everything else get priority in your life? Are you running faster trying to find what can only be found by being still before God? Are you trying to be like someone in the world? Do you find yourself admiring and copying those who have no regard for God? Are you trying to reflect their image? Do you see that you are heading down a dead end road? It's time to turn to the one who made you for Himself. It's time to listen to Him who speaks truth and to rest in the arms of the one who made us to be a unique reflection of Himself.
The gospel message is simple: We have been separated from God and we can't find our way back to Him. So God sent Christ to build a bridge, to take our hand, and to lead us to the One we have been longing for all our lives.
Come to the Father in prayer...
Come to the cross...
Sit with the Father today...and let Him fill you with His Holy Spirit...Trust in Him, put all your hope in Him
He is the way, He is the truth...
God Bless |
