Actually, since he believes that several hundred species of bats can arise from a single pair, I'd say he's even a bigger fan of evolution than I am. He just denies evolution which can cross "kinds", where two animals are of a kind if they may successfully breed. |

He might be right. I am an "atheist" kind and, so far, I have failed to breed with any Christians.

You're not missing much, I heard it is over-rated!

Nice point
Obediah will be here in a minute to argue that, "They were not in stasis field, they were in the shepherd's field!!"

Ah, but what of the carnivores? Keeping it Kosher, they got mutton form heaven.
Oh ho US you tell me, "but what about the insectivores?" It's so obvious you'll do an "I coulda had a V-8" head slap - mealworms from heaven. |

So we don't have to worry about decaying bodies, they just ate plants.
And let's also remember that some of the animals were just babies or eggs, and many of them were hibernating so they wouldn't eat very much.
Problem solved! Now don't you feel silly?
So, lions and bears only became meat-eaters after the Flood. Riiiight...
And uh, wer's th Biblical evidence that says they were hybernating?
Eggs? Uh, eggs need a mother to survive. To get food for them, to keep them warm so they'll hatch. Unless they had sun lamps back then?
Besides, how is an egg gonna find it's way to the Ark? |

Where's the biblical evidence that says they weren't hibernating?
Maybe the eggs sat in a cold cellar at the bottom of the boat, and when it was time to let them out, moses stacked the eggs underneath the hibernating bears and lions so the eggs warmed up and hatched. That's the biggest problem? Your heart really is heardened.
I can't be sure, but I've heard that the eggs were guided to the Ark by a bright star which God created over Noah. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | | | |
