Reps: 77,294 (power: 92) | | | I enjoy talking. I don't believe anybody will be cured here - ESPECIALLY since it's online and we can't truly interact with each other. But I DO think that expressing one's thoughts is entirely necessary to be able to understand and deal with them. I like this place because I can interact with depressed people who ARE Christian, as opposed to many of my depressed friends who AREN'T Christian. But in the end, this forum lets me talk of my issues in the disguise of giving advice (though I mean absolutely every word I post) and that probably helps ME more than it helps anybody I respond TO.

I've made great friends here.
This particular forum is a place where you can talk about what you struggle with, so I see it as a way to see that we're not alone.
I also think it is important to understand the limitations we are under as an internet forum. What we have here is a sense of community, some good advice, and sometimes some bad advice. | |
