Antartica is a desert, mate. 2 inches of percipitation a year. http://www.doc.ic.ac.uk/~kpt/terraquest/va/science/geography/geography.html

And care to explain why the uranium found in the lower layers of the ice core has decayed more then the uranium in the upper layers? That contradicts the storm model.

Drlao seem to be correct for the most part.
The ice shelves formed post flood.

"Such a mass of water as the Flood would have provided sufficient buoyancy to float the polar caps off their beds and break them up. They wouldn't regrow quickly. In fact, the Greenland ice cap would not regrow under modern (last 10 ky) climatic conditions." (http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/faq-...l#implications)

The quick and simple answer, the many layers represent storms and not years.
So in 40 days and 40 nights, we have an entire formation of layer after layer of sediments globally? Besides, the bible makes no mention that the storms stopped or started again at any point, instead it suggests that it was constant for 40 days and 40 nights. Literalism is a belief without assumptions. You are assuming that the storms came and left areas frequently.

For example there was discovered a WW II planes covered with 75 metres (250 feet) of ice. There was more than 50 years worth of layers of ice over top of the plane.
Source, please. As of now, you failed to cite the source of this information. Unless you went and examined these planes yourself, you must cite the sources.

Perhaps the plane entered a time worm hole and was sent back a few thousand years.
At what point is this no longer science? It seems that Occam's Razor was a bit too sharp for your argument.

I was going to go into a rather large rant about that, but I've learned it's pointless to debate with ppl who are void of any logical thought.
