Creation & EvolutionForum for the discussion of this important topic. This forum is open to non-believers. There is a Christians-only forum in the Christians-only section too.
Oh well, guess he has clay feet after all. Doesn't prove evolution, just proves no man (no matter how brilliant) is perfect.
All you know is that he disagrees with you. Isn't it more likely that you're wrong than that he is?
What makes you so sure that he's the one who's wrong rather than you? Do you claim to undersand the Bible better than he did?
Has any one seen any real quotes from this bloke, where he talks about what he believed? So far I haven't seen any.
Here's a nice essay from him about the misconception that caused Darwin to reject Christianity, and the unfortunate rift it caused between the scientific and Christian communities. http://homepage.mac.com/shanerosenth.../bbwdarwin.htm
Noll, Mark A. and David Livingston.* B. B. Warfield:* Evolution, Science, and Scripture, Selected Writings.* Grand Rapids:* Baker, 2000.* This contains an article on Scripture, “The Divine and Human in the Bible,” as well as thirty-nine articles, lectures, and reviews on the book’s subject.* This is one of Warfield’s more controversial areas of thought because he accepted the possibility of evolution in some form while denying Darwinism.
They claim that BB Warfield was remarkably well read on and respectful of the science of his time. Of course that was science of THAT time. Science of our time has cast a serious doubt on evolutionism.
You need to learn more about what this means. The aspect of Darwinism that Warfield denied was that the the process of evolution was unguided rather than divinely directed.
Of course that was science of THAT time. Science of our time has cast a serious doubt on evolutionism.
Yet another unsupported claim. If there's an aspect of modern science that provides evidence against evolutionism, start a thread about it. Other people have also made this claim, but been unable to come up with anything.
If you wish to discuss this, please make sure it's in a new thread rather than this one. This one is about Warfield, not about new evidence against evolution.

False the last 150 years have only substantiated evolution. Everything we discover fits perfectly.

Neither do the ignorant love wisdom or desire to become wise; for this is the grievous thing about ignorance, that those who are neither good nor beautiful nor sensible think they are good enough, and do not desire that which they do not think they are lacking.
Durango, I have provided you with over 16 links and you refused to look at one, calling them "spam". Did you not see Jet Black's post today on Whale "legs" (did you look at the links in the links and the pisctures??) that is an excellent example. More closer to home, your Coccyx and also the Extensor Coccyx.
Please look at this: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi Enter "evolution" as your search term. You will find over 120,000 articles on evolution. And this is just in a medical database going back only to 1965. It doesn't include journals on paleontology, for instance. Start reading the abstracts.
