Bay Shore used to be very Catholic, but the population has changed. Montauk Hwy (or whatever they call it on that stretch) is not the best place for a business nowadays. And you should check Sunrise Mall and the rest of Sunrise Hwy to make sure there is not another Cath bookstore in the area.

The closest I recall is the one we discussed (Trinity). Main St. or Montauk Hwy was pretty deserted, but lately quite a small strip has been springing. Everything from a few trendy cafes to pubs and clothing stores.

Nope. I don't live there. I live in Hicksville. And I attend St. Ignatius of Loyola (when I don't go to the LAtin Mass in Uniondale). And you still don't know where I live! |
