"Have you ever heard this before??? N'yola seems to recognize it!!!" She whispered her eyes wide with astonishment! |

Reps: 55 (power: 0) | | | *Scotti nearly dropped the think in panic when a voice issued from it under many exclamations of shock, but she barely managed not to do so and now held it as far away from herself as her arm would allow. Her voice was breathlessly cracked with asonishment.* Good grief, sah, when'th'bloomin' 'eck did th' bally box take t' jolly well as not start talkin'!? In th' name of all that is good, I say I have not heard the box speak in all my flippin' life! An' where would N'Yola 'ave 'eard that box speak!? *Seven kinds of shock manifested in her face and she was so thoroughly startled that she found herself hardly able to keep her hands from quivering.*

He stared at the box intently, and when it did not speak further, he reached out impulsively to take the box from Scotti's trembling hands and he did not hesitate to give it a good solid knock, hoping for it to speak more. The content of its speech was very very interesting. In that short moment, Renum managed to memorize most of what was spoken. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth
"Who is this God?" he demanded, as if he could force more secrets from the box.
"Have you ever heard this before??? N'yola seems to recognize it!!!" Talendra said.
"The unicorns?" Renum whipped his head to Talendra. "What are they hiding that we do not know?" he sounded hungry and angry as well, as if there was another Renum in place of the calm and coolly curious Renum. It was not that amazing though. A discovery of this magnitude could have swept every researcher off his feet.

Reps: 88,563,764 (power: 88,590) | | | Talendra jumped back from the table and stared at Renum, her eyes suddenly wary. "I don't think the unicorns are hiding anything."
"Scotti, I'm very sorry about touching your box.....I ...." Talendra looked very upset and turned away from the group. She was so tired but this was very important. She moved away from the table and let her mind reach out for N'yola.
{I am here.}
{{Who is this the box spoke of? God....}}
{Well, it is one of HIS Names...HE has many but this is what your ancestors call Him. HE is The Creator of All Things, Ruler of the Universe, Jehovah, Yahweh and many more Names....}
{{The Creator of ALL things is God?}}
{YES!}
{{This black box speaks about HIM?}}
{Apparently so....your ancestors had many strange devices, or so the Chronicler has said....}
{{OH my.....}} Talendra sat down near the kitchen area, dumbfounded by N'yola's words. |

The resentment in her voice jerked him out of the whirlwind of frenzy caused by the black box. As Talendra moved away from the table, Renum looked at the box in his hand again. He had totally forgotten that almost every person in this room had bonded with a unicorn. His outburst was not really appropriate, but it was quite clear that the unicorns knew things that they had not heard of. Since they obviously knew beforehand, why did the unicorns not tell them of this God in the first place?
“Where did you get this from, Scotti?” he said to her. It seemed the right question to ask in the confusion.

Reps: 291 (power: 0) | | | While Kilik and N'mari waited for the reply from N'verda Kilik heard some one behind him. Kilik turned to find Xavier hooking up the cart to thin air!
{{N'mari! Look!}}
{What?}
{{Look at Xavier! He is hooking up the cart to nothing!}}
{No no no.... He is hooing it up to N'ight. Don't you remember me saying that some of the Unicorns have a special ablity? Well N'ight is invisible at night.}
{{Oh cool!}}
{Yes, I thought it was neat.}
{{But what is he using the cart for I wonder...}} Just then N'mari got the reply from N'verda.
{Kilik, I know why he is bringing the cart.}
{{Why?}}
{Fetter is hurt.}
{{What? how?}}
{I do not know...she did not say...}
{{This is strange.}}
{Really.}
{{Well we do not need to go anywhere since Xavier has the cart.}}
{You got a point, I will just tell N'verda Xavier is coming.}
{{Good idea, I want to get back inside to talk some more with Renum.}}
{Ok}
{N'verda, Xavier is coming with the cart to carry Fetter so we are just going to go back to the house.} Kilik and N'mari started to walk back to Landing five.
Feirro was getting very mad at Kilik for not letting him go play with Fetter. He tryed every thing he could to get his master to pay attention to him.
{'N'mari, can you tell Father Two Legs I want to go play with Fetter?'}
{Huh? Oh that was you? Play?! Feirro, I think Fetter was fighting with some thing, not playing with it.}
{'WHAT?!?'} At this Kilik could barely control Feirro.
{{N'mari, what is wrong with Feirro?}}
{Well at first Feirro thought Fetter was playing, but I just told him he was hurt so now he really wants to go.}
{{Ok, I'll let him go check on him.}} Kilik let the worried fox jump off N'mari's back to run and find Fetter. |

Reps: 274 (power: 0) | | | Kiella sat at the table, her palm flat on the polished metal. When the voice had spoken from the small box, she's nearly jumped to her feet from terror. To her sensitive ears, the noise was harsh and tinny, like a voice heard through a sheet of copper. Conversation swirled around her, dragging her back to reality. Renum, Scotti and Talendra were all speaking at once in reply to each other, trying to ascertain just what was going on.
Kiella had lost the thought on the amulets, although her other hand was still clenched until the knuckles were white. Silently, she got to her feet and began to pace, trying to recall anything she might have heard of interest. //God ... yes, I've heard stories of him ... wonderful things of legend, of coming to our forefathers in the form of a human ... of miracles ... but what was it ... about bread and fish?// Kiella continued to pace, mute, with a frown of intense concentration on her paled face.

Reps: 55 (power: 0) | | | *Chinook patiently waited for Scotti's initial outburst of giberish to come to an end, and it quite delighted him to find her 'rendered speachless', thus his calm voice entered her mind.*
{ahem.}
*she started, but replied readily enough,*
{Chinook! Sah! I entirely forgot about ye.}
{I know..}
{Well, do y' bloomin' well know anythin' about this "God", then? N'Yola jolly well knows about Him!}
{Yes, yes I do.. He created Enkar, you know.}
*And thus Chinook began to tell Scotti of the things of the great Creator God, and she listened with growing awe.*
