Spammers

I just want to apologize on behalf of the christian forum group to all the posters who got subjected to the p@rn spam attack over the weekend.

The ADMIN has addressed the problem/technical issues and hopefully, such things will not occur again.

This is my first return visit since the attack. It may be that others are stayig away until they think it's all been cleared up and I'm that they will also return.

How about sending an e-mail out to all who were registered?

I hope all the administrators and moderators will encourage everybody to post again and return to the site through e-mail.

That would be the best thing to do.

I've seen these kinds of attacks before. They always come back. The last board that this happened to was down for 5 days. That means you folk are on the ball. Thanks. I do feel for these punks....... just remember saul became paul...........I also believe in selfdefense.

The moderators only have limited access; the problem over the weekend escalated because we did not have access to the banning function - only the head admin had it. So I couldn't ban the spammers or mass-delete their posts.

And currently I do not have the email addresses of the members. I suggest you bring that up with the head admins, Drobbie and Erwin.
