The pacer is now officially a 'Classic Car' (20 years old)!
But that's what gives it's audio appeal.
Nothing quite like the tink-tink-ta-tink-tink going down the road. Furthermore, since fire shooting tail pipes are now illegal, it's the only way you can get a good 'spark' behind such a hot automobile.

Teshuva is turning (or returning) to G-d. Tefillah is communing with G-d (much more than just prayer) and tzeddekah is doing good to others.
Guys...
I actually HAD a Pacer back in college. It was orange with fake woodgrain down the sides. I finally had to get rid of it 'cause the floorboard on the driver's side rusted out and you could see the road through the floor.
I was going to keep it anyway, but my mom tried to drive it once. She was wearing heels at the time and her heel went through the floor and got stuck! That was kind of the last straw.
I know this is hijacking the thread... so in a feeble attempt to go back to the OP.... I am SO glad God has blessed me since then.

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.
Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.Psalm 34:7-8
Prosperity....It's a message so commonly preached, yet many times taken out of context, or under-preached.
We must realize something about wealth, abundance, prosperity, and the like. God does want us to prosper, but unfortunately, many people just want to prosper to be financially or physically rich. However, our desires should never be on gaining whats physical, or financial, but what is spiritual.
God blessed many people in the OT. Abraham, Job, Jacob and Issac come to mind, as well as Israel.
Israel had much abundance coming out of Egypt, God blessed them. God even promised them the blessing beforehand (Exodus 3:21-22). However, in the example of Israel, what they did with the wealth was detestable to God. They used the golden earrings, and other riches to build false idols (Exodus 32:2-3). That isn't what we're supposed to do with what God gives us. I believe what Kenneth Hagin said :Being rich isn't about having everything, and being wealthy, it's about having a full supply.
Unfortunately, intense prosperity preaching has kind of ruined a Biblical message. It's important to let people know about Malachi 3, and God's promises concerning tithing and offering, but unfortunately, we can't use that as a means of getting rich ourselves. I believe too many 'Christians' give just to be blessed in return. I see many preachers say "If you give X amount, God will give you Y amount." I think that when someone gives, they shouldn't give grudgingly, not only that, but not have ulterier motives when giving. When I give, I really don't expect to be paid back. Why? I know God will provide, he's Jehovah Jireh. I worry that as Christians, we can be too materialistic. We must truely learn to store treasures that will not moth nor rust (Matthew 6:19-21). Our focus should be on blessing God, not God blessing us. Again, unfortunately, I don't think every person that listens to someone preaching about prosperity realizes that...Sometimes I wonder if those themselves that preach it just want to make a dollar, or actually want others to bless God through the giving of time, talent and treasure.
We must remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 23:23 " Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees! For ye pay tithe of mint, anise and cummin, and ye have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgement, mercy and faith : these ought ye to have done, and not leave the others undone" There are more pressing matters than making sure we prosper. We should be more focused on showing mercy, having faith in God, and knowing the law.
I always remember what James said in 4:2-3, which not everyone actually quotes entirely. (NIV) You want something but don't get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.
They're strong words for someone that just always has to have and have. We must learn to always be content with what we got.....Look into Ecclesiastes.
I was watching Creflo Dollar yesterday and he was teaching on prosperity.
A summary of some of the things he spoke on:
He was saying that Jesus was made sin so that we can be righteous.
He was saying that Jesus was made sick so that we can be well.
He then went on to say that Jesus becamepoor so that we can be made rich.
Poor = everything that lacks something. So if a millionaire is sick, he's still poor/if a person is healthy but has no money, he's still poor.
Revelation 3:17 - Because you say, "I am rich, have become wealthy and have need of nothing" - And do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked.
He finished by saying that God is after wholeness, which leads to fullness.
Prosperity is not just about finance, it's about lining yourself up with what God says is good and agreeing with Him. So if God says your empowered to get wealth, then agree with Him. If God says you are well, then agree with Him.

Galatians 3:19 - What then was the purpose of the Law? It was added because of transgressions and [to make men more conscious of the sinfulness] of sin; and it was intended to be in effect until the Seed (the Descendant, the Heir) should come, to and concerning Whom the promise had been made.

That is exactly what the Bible says about prosperity.
