I asked my mom if it was acadian, she said no. It is tangipaohoa parish, at border of mississippi and LA, well, duh, on the LA side lol.

Okay, my bad. I should have known better, you are way out there in the opposite direction. I can see now why they are more Baptist. That is more like the Bible belt almost.

I dont know if you had ever read any of my posts but a lot of people can tell you that I am going throught the same EXACT(close to it, you know what you wanna be and I am still thinking) thing you are. Heres the story.

Well my bf is Swoosh on here, and he has been talking to me alot(lol duh ) and I am born and raised Baptist. my mom is very deep in her religion. and I have been noticing errors in the Baptist church. Well my mom found out that after my church i went to church with swoosh. We got in a big fight cuz she beleives that catholics are not "saved". She is THE anit-Catholic and anyone who has heard my story can tell you. So after that my mom has litterally BANNED me from going to church with swoosh. I cant do anything Catholic related, everytime I talk to her about Catholics she tells me I am wrong and that I need to get my priorities strait. I am strictly told that if i live in 'her' house i go to HER church and cant go to any other church and she doesnt beleive in any of their traditions and totally turns them around to be a bad thing. My whol family is deep baptist and dispise catholics (that is my family, NOT ME DONT BAN ME FROM SITE...PLEASE) My mom has the whole church talking to me and asking to pray with me cuz she is taking this as a if I am turning muslim and that I am going to hell if I become Catholic.But please tell me any updates I am going through the same persecution you are. I hope I can help you.
