Well, like you said in this thread. People would rather make nasty comments about a viewpoint rather than try and explain why they believe what they do.
I've been on a military debate board for over 5 years, and generally learned to behave there or I was tossed on my behind by much better debaters than I. *grin* So I appreciate a good, nice dialogue rather than things like "goo" comments that frankly get no one anywhere. <Said military board is stuck on Kerry/Bush debates now that have gotten nowhere beyond "you suck" "no you suck more". I hate that kind of debate.>
That's all I meant. You guys don't know me yet. It's hard to explain in type until you really know someone.
Not knowing someone is a problem, but since we can only go by what we see on the screen, and if that seems reasonable and rational, (even if I disagree) then at least there can be a discussion, instead of an argument.
