In a bowl, chop or mash 1 peeled avocado
Stir in:
1 small tomato, finely chopped
1-2T onion, minced
1T lemon juice
1 clove garlic, minced or crushed
salt to taste
cillantro, chopped (optional)
1/2 fresh green chili pepper minced (optional)
you could also add 2T sour cream if you wish.
I haven't tried this recipe, but it sure sounds yummy! |

I have Made this and it is very good. But have not tried it with the sour cream.

Guacamole
1 medium-sized tomato (about 1/2 lb)
2 ripe avocados (about 1 1/2 to 2 lbs)
1 1/2 Tbsp lime juice (fresh squeezed is best)
1 tsp salt
1 small onion
2 canned, whole green chiles, drained
Peel, seed and finely chop tomato. Peel avocados and mash with a potato masher. Add lime juice and salt. Finely chop onion and chiles and stir in. Enjoy! | | |
