For the whole law is summed

For the whole law is summed up in a single commandment, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

The correct way to say it and so it agrees with Christ is this. The whole law is summed up in one word which is love. The law is summed up by love, but not love thy neighbor alone.

Galatians 5:14

New King James Version (NKJV)

14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”[a]

Mt 22:
36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”
37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’[d] 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’[e] 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

The commandments define love because the word, love can have a godly definition or a perverted definition.
