why doesn't god let me die?

I got a question, I'm not suicidal or anything but why doesn't god just kill me? I don't have much to live for but everything in heaven, he kills people in Africa everyday that want to live. Why doesn't he kill me when I don't want to live? Why doesn't he just give me cancer or kill me in a car wreck rather then the people who want to live?

I am on medication and in therapy but I don't have any mental illness or depression really, I just plain and simply do not want to live and genuinely want to go to heaven.

Hello,

There is nothing wrong with thinking about how glorious it will be after we die and are united with our Father in Heaven. But we have work to do in this life and should try to focus our efforts on this work and enjoying the life God has given us.

We are all created for a purpose and a major part of life is discovering what is is and fulfilling it. In my life, feeling called by the Lord and going on to work for Him as a minister and chaplain is not only fulfilling but providing gratification. It is fantastic to realize one's purpose and it provides both excitement and comfort.

I've found that for most people, service to others and the Body of Christ is a large part of why we are created. Because we have free will not everyone goes on to discover and fulfill their God given purposes however.

I suggest that you tell your therapist what you've brought up in this thread. He/she will help you feel better and help insure that your medical needs are taken care of.
