Earth Hour 2013!

To those who celebrate this feast by turning the lights off and watching Earth Hour shows on TV:

Why do you not turn off the TV instead and save more energy that way?

I turn the lights on for Human Achievement Hour! I invite everyone here to do the same.

That's this Saturday at the same time as the technophobic Earth Hour.

Mark

I think I'll have some of my lights off and some on, as I usually do. Those I have off I'll dedicate to Earth Hour, and those I have on I'll dedicate to Human Achievement Hour. That way I can celebrate BOTH!

The TV I think I'll dedicate to the greatest human achievement in sporting events (aka March Madness).

When does this occur. I would like to turn on an extra lamp in compensation.
