what was the sign for you that you were growing up?

someone did a survey and they concluded that people started "feeling older" at 28. let's make our own list of signs that we know we are getting older.

1.) when you go to an amusement park and throw up on the ferris wheel.

when I got stuck in the slide at McDonalds. Okay, that didn't really happen, but I miss the ball pit

1.) When I started asking the kids in church to turn the music down at youth club
2.) When I didn't want to get up at 6:00am every morning at the first sign of sunlight in the summer months
3.) When I began watching documentaries instead of soaps
4.) When I no longer had a clue who was #1 in the charts...and I didn't care
5.) When I no longer felt like my week had been ruined every time Cardiff lost a football match. Although, losing the Carling Cup Final in Feb was absolutely heart-breaking.

I'm sure there are some more but can't think at this point in time lol

Do hats, scarves, needlepoint patterns, etc count? My grandparents would buy stuff at the cheap shores or garage sales for us. I have a shirt that still fits that I was given when I was a little kid because it was way too big then.

I'm taller than when I was a kid. I think that's a good sign that I'm old.
Also I can only see about 5 toys in my room at present... that's clearly a sign that I'm getting older. Though my favorite section in the store is still the toy store and I'm more likely to spend money on candy than food..
My bookshelf is a good sign that I'm older... some of the history books are a bit graphic so anyone having read them would have to grow up a bit.
