One small correction. Per the Constitution, the President doesn't sign off on Supreme Court decisions, only laws passed by the Congress.

Quite correct, and a Supreme Court decision doesn't pass through Congress either. They are ruling on the Constitutionality of an existing law.

The political standing of the president doing the appointment is not as important as the leaning of the justices. We often find a Justice differ from what was expected, he didn't reflect the President's position.
So the Liberals got abortion legal still stands.

Yes, I know that people will try to disprove this study--using the Amish as a control group.

Give it up, the man is trying to eliminate abortions in a way consistent with his own church's rules.

And studies show it works....and that perhaps there is more 'collateral damage' from the pro-life position.
The only way providing free birth control lowers teen pregnancy is if you teach them "Well, you're going to do it anyway, after all, it's your animal instincts, so WHEN you go have sex, use B/C." And yet, most don't know how to use B/C properly, or are too irresponsible to do so regularly. Thus, as when playing with fire, you're going to get burnt.

Abstinance education works because, if kids realize what the sex act is for, and how it's meant to be used, they're less likely to have sex in the first place.

Romney cannot do anything to reverse the Supreme Court, unless he gets to replace them all with fellow Mormons and then a case comes up that the Supreme Court chooses to hear.

But if he was to try to do that, he'd have my support, 100%.

Lots of conservatives believe in abortion in one way or another. Most don't think abortifacient contraceptives should be outlawed. Many think it should be a states rights issue. Many support it but under limited circumstances. Some, believe it or not, even get abortions, believing that the small child they're carrying is not yet substantial enough to be considered "a person", in spite of the clear fact that they are alive.
