Yes I am confused. I do have OCD but I also believe OCD is just obsessing about a doubt that is truly skeptism. I doubt God exists (skeptism) I obsess about the skeptism (OCD) Am I wrong? That is what OCD is right?

Anyway when you stop obsessing (ocd) is it possible your faith doesn't come back. Is it possible you always doubt because you have become a skeptic as a product of the OCD. I am still so confused about what OCD is.

OCD is not the end of faith. Why have you lost your faith young one?

I don't know I can find holes in all apologetics for Christianity.

Three years. No apologetics help me. I am scared I am going to hell.

OCD is doubt, obsessive doubt, constant doubt, overwhelming doubt...it is the doubting disease. I'm so sorry Raven that you are still suffering so much in this area.

Sis, your not alone. We are all here for ya. It might take a while but mark my words Sis you will one day get through this and when that day comes your joy will be beyond words.

Remember what I said Sis about faith.
Faith is first and foremost a choice, once you commit to saying yes to Jesus he will eventually be the one that gets you through this.
Sis it isn't us that is in control, it is Jesus Christ.

You are one of his precious sheep and Christ said he will never u slip through his fingers, and Jesus cannot lie. It is not in his nature.

The good news is that we can overcome doubt. It is possible.
The obsession might be trying to find a way to overcome an idea which doesn't seem to have a remedy in other ideas at hand. However we can also tackle doubt head on instead of tackling ideas and that gives way to a steady mind in my experience.

so i mean why before this i had no trouble believing God created the world. i didn't think it was impossible for him to create us out of nothing. i thought athiests were silly. now i think it is impossible for God to say come into existence and poof even if he is God. i admire athiest because they don't believe in things that seem absurd. see i can't blame my ocd for these doubts.
