Interestingly, the tribes of Israel have migrated to these isles, where they became a nation called great and a company (commonwealth) of nations, along with the Throne of David.
"I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime" (2 Samual 7:10 - spoken while they were yet in Palestine) Introduction. |

Israel...perhaps not one of our country's better political moves...

You want to talk about the land Israel rather than decendants of Jacob/Israel?
If so, why raise it on the UK & Ireland section?
There are already a couple of threads in the "other regions" sections, example 1, example 2

I wouldn't credit any UK government in modern history having a coherent Isreal/Palestine policy.
Moves? Shuffle maybe...

I never met a non-believer in it who could find fault with how the many specific prophecies concerning the tribes of Israel in the last days and the Throne of David are satisfied by, and only by, Britain, it's Commonwealth and the coastal people of NW Europe, and the USA. In fact hardly any have read the literature showing the details.
All they have done is go to some website where someone makes arguments based on ignorance and mis-understanding.
As a result, many prophecies, promises and parables of scripture remain a silent mystery to them!
I see you are in London, if you are open to hear, I and a friend will be more than happy to meet up and present some details, I'll even buy you some light refreshments!

Ever noticed how proponents of British Israelism tend to be ... emm... British? Or at least White Anglo-Saxon Protestants?

I have.
Makes me wonder how many other countries have people that believe the same about their own country's origin.
