So I went to post something on my older sister's facebook page and noticed she had defriended me. I thought it was a mistake, so I looked on my niece's page and she also defriended me :/
I didn't know what was going on. At first my sister said it was just a mistake, but she later admitted it was because she cringes when I post on Facebook. She thinks I'm a little too "shout it from the rooftops" about my faith. She hates it how when I'm struggling, all my friends are too "give it Jesus" or "Jesus will help you." I've never run into this where a family member was so offended by my faith like this. I mean, I've had the eye-roll and other stuff.
I almost said, "Okay, I'll tone it down some," but then realized what that meant. How would you handle this situation?

That's stupid. They could have simply removed you from their News Feed without unfriending you.

whatever you do, I don't think He wants you to tone it down. keep strong!

There are other means to this. When my family members post obscene things and sexy pics and all that crazy nonesense...I don't delete them. I just unsubscribe to them or take them off the news feeds by unsubscribing.
Some times people are not so techy so they don't know about it. Maybe that's another reason.

I sometimes have this issue with my sisters. They are both atheists with a condescending attitude about Christianity. It's one of the main reasons why we aren't close, but I still struggle every day to love and care for them...
I would have let them know that they do in fact have options for toning down what they do not like to see in their news feed. It is not worth a defriending.
