This periodical is SUPPOSED to be a libertarian publication. But they are clearly in the tank for Romney.
They are antiunion, and while I don't wholly agree with unions as I believe each man who holds a job should be accountable for his/her performance in that job, I suppose some of my "libertarian" brothers and sisters are of the belief that only the rich should gain during economic decline. ROFL

Apparently you do not understand the Libertarian party. They have nothing whatsoever to do with liberalism despite the similarity of the words. They are much farther right on most issues than the Republican party. Their end goal is the virtual abolition of government. Their immediate strategy is to reduce government to only those elements enumerated in the Constitution. That means, of course, only an excise (customs) office for taxes and a military. All else is out the window, including education.
They mildly tolerate Romney because he is somewhat more in line with their view than Obama. |

You can't be a libertarian and NOT support Gary Johnson, Ron Paul or Jesse Ventura.
To promote another candidate is hypocrisy. Livingston and his cohorts sold me on the idea of smaller govt and tax accountability(closing loopholes and taking back Romney's 77K subsidy for his wife's show horse ROFL).
I subscribed b/c I subscribe to their knowledge of knowing that both the L and the R are in cahoots with the banksters and the corporations and are creating a fascist police state. Now, they are clearly apart of that. As is that Alex Jones.

I must admit though, it is entertaining to watch a football game today, never know when or why a flag was thrown. (as long as it isn't on my team). |

Sounds like he's not the only one who doesn't understand the Libertarian Party.
We don't want the abolition of government and, outside of an MSNBC charicature, you won't find one Libertarian who believes in the abolition of government. |

Libertarians have a out dated mindset concerning 21st century issues. They will never be any real contender in national politics. |

Yeah, that must be why its top three hosts (Beck, Napolitano, Stossel) were Libertarians who hammered Bush on a daily basis.
OK. I'll bite: how is Libertarians' mindset "outdated"? Are liberty and prosperity no longer good things? | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | | | |
