| curiosity of prayer
My college english professor came in and sat down very heavily one morning. He informed us that his daughter had been in and out of the hospital with skin boyles and fever and, as he described it, absolute physical torture. He had been on the phone with a lady from a former church of his and he asked her to pray for his daughter. The lady calls back later and says this "curtis, the holy spirit told me to tell you to go pray over your daughter". Needless to say he left early and went and gatherd his family a prayed. He claimed that when his hand was touching his daughter as he prayed, his hand got extremly hot. Next thing he knows she looks over at him and says daddy, its like a fog has been lifted. Now, this man is a cuser and sometimes a perv however his child is better bc of this...I know prayer is powerful, but is it this powerful? Especially for someone like him? |
