Moreso of Christ in you Makes me think of using brick for stone (and the LORD coming down to see and confound even here) And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner? This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, He saith unto them...whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath it: Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift! To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious... Unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. Andrew finds Simon and brings him to Christ To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone. Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. He saith unto them...whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; Again... Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion. The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd. I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. Out of space

I'll post more later off these below, Im having so much fun really. Heres a beautiful song too, Im sorta hooked on this one now, I dont get out much, like listen to christian radio or anything so if I stumble on one I like at Youtube I feel pretty lucky Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? Go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. What is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell? And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him. And He asked them...What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The Son of David. He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool? If David then call him Lord, how is he his son? The Lord having expounded these things to his disciples Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. What is his son's named is begged through this question... Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell? Jesus asks....If David calls him Lord, how then can he be Davids Son? And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him. David is not ascended, but David seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ He is a God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee. I counsel thee to keep the king's commandment, and that in regard of the oath of God. And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest: The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father) full of grace and truth. For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron. So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee. Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. to be continued...

He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool? If David then call him Lord, how is he his son? Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people. Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted. Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest: But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled. And God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee. Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament. And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore. And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron. So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee. Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Reps: 9,223,372,036,854,775,808 (power: 9,223,372,036,854,804) | | Bless our Great God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ Was thinking on these this morning, and so I am posting these In your patience possess ye your souls. Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake; Consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake; And hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect. And the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, Which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. Our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. For he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you. Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

Reps: 9,223,372,036,854,775,808 (power: 9,223,372,036,854,804) | | I was thinking on these today and had to split these into two posts, though I cut alot out already. This being created in Christ unto good works, adding to our faith (so to speak) which I didnt add in because its long enough, I'll add those in another way on another post though, I can never seem to either squeeze everything in or find endless ways to run a scenario of verses differently yet in the same accord, His words are truly awesome This is sorta pretty too For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus "unto" good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. Therefore leaving "the principles of" the doctrine of Christ, let us go on "unto perfection"; not laying again the foundation of repentance from "dead" works, and "of faith" toward God, Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, "zealous of "good works. According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him "in love": Let us consider one another to provoke unto love "and" to good works For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. Do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons. Charge them that "are rich "in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they "be rich in" good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate. If a man say, I love "God", and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, "how can" he love God whom he hath not seen? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, "how" dwelleth the love of God "in" him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. Let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. .

First one was OK, but pretty only goes so far with me. The last one has mystery & adventure in the sound even if the first one has some of that in the lyrics.
I wanted to just stop by & say, "Hi Firetire!" LOL
Mickey & I had a great little adventure today when I overthrew the frisbee & it landed in the creek. It was upside down so it floated down to where we could walk out on rocks to get it.
Yes, don't get too bookish! Tell the Delivery Boy I said hi to him, too.

Its really crazy what you come across these days. Boggles my mind (everytime). Believe us, not the scripture... wow, as if Jesus confirms their words over His own apostles or something. I will say no more.... I'll also post one of my favorites on Jesus words after this one. For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me . God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. And so they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee. Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ. We have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; Continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. Take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe. I like this one too, its tender....

I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth;and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. I will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak. This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people. We know that God spake unto Moses: as for this fellow, we know not from whence he is. For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words? Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken They are they which testify of me And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. These testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. For mine eyes have seen thy salvation Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses (the law) and Elias (the prophets) Who appeared in glory, and spake of "his decease" which he should accomplish at Jerusalem. But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled. Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead. And God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee. And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. I will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. For I have not spoken of myself God said by Moses...I will put my words in his mouth And... he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words? Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: For these testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening. For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ. The eunuch sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet. I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man? Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:
