Please pray for my mother, she was bitten by a bat and might have contracted rabies
Yesterday morning when she was letting the dogs out, a bat fell from something and landed on her hand. It then dropped to the ground and laid there for about 3 minutes, so my dad picked it up with rubber gloves and moved it away and it took off flying. There's now broken skin on her thumb. Neither of us are sure if she was bitten/scratched, or if it was from something else. But the bat definitely did hit the hand with the broken skin.
But here's the problem. We can't afford the vaccination. She talked to the doctor and he told her that he can't do anything, and that she'd have to go to the emergency room. We decided to call a clinic to see if they could do anything, and they told us to go to the emergency room because they couldn't do anything. So we called our health insurance company and they told us to talk to the doctor, and we told them what he said, and then they said that it would cost over $5,000 if she goes to the emergency room. $100 for the co-pay each time(I think it's 4 or 6 injections) followed by the price per injection, which I'm not quite sure what it is but it was estimated at over $5,000.
We really can't afford to pay that much, and nobody is willing to do anything. I've tried to get her to go to the emergency room anyway, but she says she's not going to do it because it costs too much. The doctors are just going to let her die.
Please pray for her, because God is the only one we can rely on now.

Praying for your mother, that any broken skin and contact with the bat is of no consequence and that her immune system and fighter cells are revved up and boosted by God to fight the good fight on her behalf. God is a GOOD God and a VERY PRESENT HELP in our times of trouble. Father may it be so, in Jesus name, amen. (((hug)))

It seems the chance of the bat having rabies would not be good. I would think that an actual bite would be painful at onset, though I know you want to be ultra careful. Maybe it would give you some peace of mind to search the net and see what any begiinning signs of rabies might be. If you don't see them, then maybe all is well. If you do, well as a last resort you could contact the press and have them do an investigative report about why you can't get help - which might prompt the appropriate people to give some aid. The press would be interested in the topic generally maybe, and people should be alerted if there is any rabies in the area (again, I personally doubt it but of course don't know for sure). You also might want to call up some vets and ask if any rabid bats have been found in the area. A "No" answer could help you be more calm while you check everything out. Praying all will work out great for you.

Please pray for believers being persecuted for their faith.
Praying that the Lord heals your mother and protects her from the rabies and for comfort
