No true Christian would tie another to the stake and burn them. I don't want to judge those who were lead to support such things because they may have acted in ignorance, God alone will judge, they may not have had proper guidance because they didn't have bibles themselves in some circumstances, but those who had the scriptures who lead others to burn witches, God will judge them harshly i think. I wouldn't want to be them. |

I can name a saint who burned people as part of his official duties... I don't want to judge those who were lead to support such things because they may have acted in ignorance, God alone will judge, they may not have had proper guidance because they didn't have bibles themselves in some circumstances, but those who had the scriptures who lead others to burn witches, God will judge them harshly i think. I wouldn't want to be them.
