I mean, does it light in full view of the Church, or is it hidden? Is it a miracle? I have only very recently heard of this and would like to know what the current thinking is.
And most importantly, has anyone here been here to see it? If so, please let us know your experience!!! |

The flashes remind me of the testimony given to me by a 30 year friend of mine who was (and remains) atheist, regarding a MArian appearance at a Church here in KY a few years ago. The event was somehow attached to the events in Medjugorje. The BVM was allegedly making a silent appearance inside a catholic Church. He could not get inside because the crowds were so big, but standing outside the crowd saw massive blue and white flashes of light inside and outside the church. he also said that there was a cloud cover that evening, and he watched the clouds collapse upon themselves until they diessappeared over the top of the church. Skies were clear and bright after.
The events did not convert him, but he still says the things that happened were unexplainable. |

The skeptic inside me says;
"Why would God make an annual miracle? Just for demonstration?"
But then again, faith is responsible for the miracles.
Maybe it is a miracle and a tastimony of what faith is capable of achieving.

I think there are some public miracles (this, the Jordan river reversing, the cloud on Tabor, etc) to confirm the faith and to help those deepen their faith. remember most of the miracles in Scripture were public.
