Any grape-growers here?

I've been growing grapes for about five years now. I am getting better at it each year, but boy, getting BIG, crunchy, sweet grapes isn't easy!

Anybody else grow 'em?

There's a wild vine here that I'd like to tame. I've planted berry bushes nearby. But I'm trying to figure out how to protect it all from birds. I guess deer netting over it would be the way.

Not yet. May be putting in a few vines next winter. I have rodent problems so any startup has to be caged or run a beter than even chance of being destroyed in the first year.

Since you opened this topic. I would like to get more suggestions and recommendations for growing it. I am interested to grow it in my own backyard but I think it's also dependent on the climate. What is the best climate for a good grapes to grow?
