The gift of phofecy, even if not for all, is compatible with an apostolic church (or at least it is compatible with the Catholic Church which is the by far larger apostolic church)

by Apostolic I mean the Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox and the Oriental Orthodox Churches

There have been prophecies, yes. It is not something that we seek after. I ignore most prophecies, as they could very easily be of human or demonic origin. It is best just to focus on repenting and praying.
